What skill do you think every D&A professional should focus on in the coming year?
Story telling – it’s so critical that every D&A professional can tell a clear story about the D&A work they are doing, but in a way that business leaders can connect with, and understand the value it delivers in the context of the core business.
Looking Back on 2024, what’s the biggest change you’ve seen in D&A this year?
How the boundaries between D&A, Digital and core business functions are merging, with D&A now integrating into these functions and their business processes and capabilities.
If you could gift one book or podcast to a fellow D&A leader, what would it be?
The Class Ceiling by Sam Friedman and Daniel Laurison – beyond being leaders in D&A, we are all leaders of industry and have a role to play in making the world more inclusive and diverse. This book talks about the barriers the underprivileged in the UK face in pursuing a top career, and worryingly how 3 simple data points from when you are a child have a very high probability of predicting your future earning potential.
