What skill do you think every D&A professional should focus on in the coming year?
Data storytelling. If you can’t tell the story your data or analysis is showing, then you and your colleagues won’t be able to use it to make the right data informed business decisions.
What’s a skill that’s vital to successful D&A leadership?
Communication. To be able to understand business problems and influence decision making through data driven solutions.
If you could choose any destination to escape to in December or the New Year, where would it be?
I’ve been going on holiday for New Year for about 10 years and I’ve loved them all, so I’ll say Athens, where I’m headed this year.
What’s a festive tradition you look forward to every year?
Our family theatre trip the Friday before Christmas. This year its Alice in Wonderland at Shakespeare North in Prescot.
