Mental health is something we should look at 365 days a year, but it’s vital to highlight the importance of this week. ?

It’s Mental Health Awareness week and this year; the theme is Community! ?

How I look at this, is what the power of people and that positive effects that communities, however small or large, whether it’s social or professional can have on you as an individual.

Here at Orbition Group, we’ve been successful in building up the Driven by Data Community.

This has been designed over the years to bring together professionals in the Data, Analytics & AI space from various backgrounds to share insights, collaborate on current trends and challenges, and advance their careers in this space.

Hosting a range of initiatives, including events, mentorship programmes and content platforms, we have been able to create a community that can come together and establish new relationships in their field of work.

? Women to Watch – on a weekly basis, we encourage to elevate female talent in Data on a global scale. We highlight visionary leaders that are at the forefront of the data-driven revolution such as Lynne Bailey, Ying Li and Katy Gooblar (If you know someone in this space, that you would like to highlight and nominate, please do reach out!)

Driven by Data: The Mentorship Programme – with nearly 300 partnerships, and 500+ participants, this has been an opportunity for the next generation of leaders in the data analytics industry to be mentored by some of the most elite mentors in this space. Not only have we seen relationships form, meet-ups had but seeing the community grow in their career has made us realise why we started this initiative in the first place!
