NEW ROLE:
Looking for a (hands-on) Data Platform/Engineering Lead to own a data platform roadmap in a greenfield environment (and build a team)
This is to work for a global insurance firm, based in London.
Over time, this role will form part of the SLT.
The Data Leader is one of few who has delivered tangible, commercial value through data related work.
Which is important for people to consider given the current ongoings in the industry
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
➡️An ability and willingness to remain hands-on; it’s a small team so they need someone who is still close enough to the detail (not purely a strategic, people manager)
➡️People management experience; have experience of leading/managing teams.
➡️Had prior ownership of an data platform/engineering strategy/roadmap.
➡️ Azure tech stack; Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, CI/CD, Terraform, etc.
Cash component up to around £126K with a solid benefits package on top.
