Orbition Group have been engaged by one of the most recognised brands on the planet, (FTSE 100) to lead a brand-new search for a Head of Developer Experience (Data & AI).
The type of profile we’re seeking is one with strong and extensive technical leadership.
The purpose of the role is to make it easier and faster for engineers, developers and product teams to build Data & AI solutions. Those people are your customers!
This role spans end-to-end from devising the developer experience/enablement strategy through to execution. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role, not a strategy-deck role.
You’ll be leading a team and owning the tooling, templates, reusable components, and smart use of AI in the dev process that data and AI teams rely on every day.
What we really need is someone who’s genuinely built and led this before, not just overseen it.
You should know what teams of engineers, developers and product people require from a modern data platform.
This isn’t a role where you get to hide behind activity. We want someone who can point to the actual numbers they’ve moved: faster time to shipped product, more products and features shipped, less duplicated effort across teams, better adoption of the tooling, and genuinely happier developers, that all rolls up into creating tangible outcomes from better, faster, more effective decision-making.
Bonus points if you’ve got Snowflake and AWS experience.
